Everyone was nice. Fresh flowers were beautiful, great price on meats.

I love Trader Joe’s.There are regular items I go out of my way to pick up at Trader Joe’s that I can’t get anywhere else including:• The garlic nan bread (keeps in the freezer super well)• Wasabi Sea Weed • Sark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate (see pic)• Cranberry Chèvre cheese log• Homemade handmade tortillas• my boys love the brownie granola bars

Fairly standard, smallish Trader Joe's. Surprisingly not very trans aware. I get misgendered about half of the time in this location, so I spend my money more often at their competitors. Employees need training in this area.

TJ's is a wonderful place. The staff is amazing. The system they have in place to make sure all are safe as possible from Corona virus is commendable to say the least. Wish they required all customers to wear masks, though.

$$ Excellent supermarket! Great selection of organic non-processed food products, dairy, wines, fresh vegetables, grains and flowers. They also sell 'green' household products, cleaners and some personal products. Great quality, good value. More environmentally conscious than most markets (no plastic bags). I love Trader Joe's. The only issue I have is that it's tough to shop when is crowded.

If you want quality products and great service, then this is the place. Serving the Chapel Hill and Durham areas, TJ’s is an establishment worth a visit. For a small market, it carries a plethora of products from fresh produce (including local) to prepackaged fresh fish and meats to an array of delicious cheeses. Their wine selection is also pretty good. You can get a decent bottle rose for only $6! They also have flowers and plants at very reasonable prices. All their own brand products are off the chart! Overall, great value for your money!

Someone stole my milk. I was in the parking lot today around 2:30 PM. There were 3 gallons on the bottom of my cart when I returned it and by the time I realized it and went back to the carts my milk was gone. This sucks because I like having milk with my oatmeal in the morning and the next two weeks are going to be cold milkless mornings.

Mostly a good experience. The foods are fun and the store is packaged with excitement. However, some of the managers are clueless which is unfortunate since many of the staff members are exceptional workers.

Trader Joe's. What can I say? Super helpful crew, great selection, and of course the Charles Shaw wine. Chocolate and chips were also in my shopping cart. Their coffee brand is awesome and taste alot better than Starbucks. I know you have been there so keep it going.

I should preface my review by stating that this Trader Joe's location is deserving of a 5-star rating, and the only reason that I deducted a star is because of my own diet (vegan) and preferences. The only downsides are the lack of an abundance of vegan options, when compared to Whole Foods, the lack of organic produce, and the somewhat limited selection overall. That being said, I have become quite a fan! There are always a wealth of friendly and helpful employees manning the cash registers and roaming the aisles, ensuring an incredible customer service experience. The prices really caught me off-guard, as they are competitive with Walmart and Food Lion. The quality of the food is exceptional as well, and despite having fewer vegan options than I'd like, they do have a decent amount for such a small grocery. I highly recommend this location to anyone in/around Chapel Hill!

Obviously an incredible grocery store but we're writing this review to compliment them for how wonderful they were to work with for our wedding last October. We got our wedding wines and a lot of our flowers for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day from the Trader Joe’s in Chapel Hill. Every interaction we had with their team members was professional, helpful, and kind. They recommended wines at a variety of price points as we did tastings with our friends, they worked with us and our crazy schedule to make our wine pickups easy and smooth, and they got us the best flowers possible for our big day. They did all this at an incredibly affordable price AND when we had extra wine leftover after our wedding, they gladly accepted returns. We would highly recommend working with them to any couples planning their weddings – or if you’re just in need of a good grocery store!

excellent selection of nuts and dried fruit, and many wines from around the world. pricing is always good. staff are very helpful and friendly, and yesterday found out about a particular product, its history and when they carried it. usually buy a lot a wine since really good quality table wine for great prices.

They're doing an amazing job. Cheerful, safe, well stocked.

Its not all that. The line to get in was over an hour. The food choices were adequate, but the manderine oranges I bought molded in 2 days.

It is ROUGH in the parking lot around rush hour. TJ’s is best for those with a quick paced lifestyle, prefer quick meals, and those who like the coop feel without the co-op prices (usually higher). Great boutique vibe with corporate prices. Overall, necessary but not my go-to. Clean, convenient, easy to navigate, and nice flowers.

I always like Trader Joes. Never can complain. Hate waiting outside now in the summer, but it is what it is I guess.

Trader Joe's is the best. Great selection, good prices, pleasant staff. Foods that I can't get elsewhere especially vegetarian products. Value for money wine and beer. Worth my monthly 40 min drive.

What is not to like about a place apparently built to support one or two people?

Best grocery in chapel Hill. Great prices. Every checkout is staffed and open. In and out quick. Parking is little cramped but it's not a deal breaker. If you've never been believe the hype. This isnt whole foods. Great foods stuffs low prices. Organic and regular, meat eaters and vegans, cheap and pricey (but not too much of that kind of stuff). All are welcome here.

The cashiers are always friendly and polite.

It’s a standard issue Trader Joe’s y’all: it’s good for some things not that good for other things. The great products appear for few days or weeks to never be seen again. But that’s standard TJ MO. Sight... Yet, it’s good to have this store in our community. It gives us more options.

I love this Trader Joe's. The staff is always helpful and friendly and they are rarely out of stock on any particular item. I will say that it gets crazy busy on the weekends. Best to go early in the morning. Their parking lot can get really full too.

Love this place! Come here every visit and pretty much get the same thing every time! Shaw wine!! Especially the organic ones. And the best chips you’ll ever eat if you like spice and crunch! The ghost pepper chips! Not greasy and very crunchy! Best chip ever. I get 6 bags every time!

Often very busy on the weekend. Try going early to avoid the crowd. It can literally be so crowded you can't walk around. The parking lot can also be a nightmare so be prepared. Other than that. Great produce and awesome products. I love the TJ brand grapefruit seltzer

I love this Trader Joe's location! It's one of my favorites - from the super personable, friendly workers that you literally form friendships with during your visit, to the delicious samples (especially the wine samples!), and the amazing wine/beer selection - you couldn't ask for anything better! Only con is the aisles are a little snug and the parking lot is a bit anxiety inducing because it's always crowded! But totally worth it overall. Love this location!

I have always loved the selection of things available at Trader Joe's but often choose not to go there because the times I am able to go it tends to be very crowded and chaotic however... I was very impressed by how efficiently they have handled the challenges of the pandemic. Though it was a long line to get in, it moved at a good speed and ensured that the store was not crowded. I was in and out with all of my goodies faster than I would normally have been before covid... As always the staff was very friendly and upbeat. They made sure everyone who entered had a freshly sanitized cart and they even returned them from the parking lot for everyone immediately!

Their system with dealing with the pandemic situation is very efficient and worked very flawlessly. Staff are very energetic and helpful, as Trader Joe's staff are meant to. Prices are very reasonable since they're basically rebranded and repackaged items that are already popular. The savings of buying it bulk are passed onto the customer. No apparent shortage to any products I saw. Overall positive experience.
